Using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and other Evidenced Based Therapy Techniques, I am able to hyper-focus on the needs of the client. I work particularly well with clients who present symptoms consistent with Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, and relational difficulties.

I am excited to add EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy) to my repertoire of therapy techniques soon.

Individual Therapy for Clients of All Ages

“Individual therapy is a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal transformation. It offers you the opportunity to deeply explore your unique experiences, gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and develop effective strategies to overcome obstacles.”

The goal of individual therapy is to help the client gain insight into their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors and to develop healthier coping mechanisms and strategies for managing challenges and improving overall well-being.

During individual therapy sessions, the therapist and client engage in a confidential and supportive environment to explore the client’s concerns, identify patterns, and work collaboratively toward achieving specific goals. The therapy process may involve discussing past experiences, current issues, and future aspirations.

Couples Therapy

“We understand that navigating the complexities of a partnership can be difficult, but you don’t have to face it alone. At FVS Counseling, we are dedicated to helping couples like you rediscover harmony and build a solid foundation for lasting love.”

In couples counseling, I facilitate open communication, help the couple identify and understand the underlying issues, and guide them in developing effective problem-solving and coping skills. The goal of couples counseling is to enhance the overall quality of the relationship, promote mutual understanding and emotional intimacy, and strengthen the bond between partners.

Family Therapy

“Our family therapy sessions are designed to be collaborative, empowering, and solution-focused. We involve each family member in the therapeutic process, ensuring that everyone has a voice and feels heard. Together, we explore underlying issues, identify strengths, and work towards finding practical solutions that promote long-term harmony and well-being.”

In family counseling, I work with multiple members of a family unit together. This form of therapy recognizes that issues within a family often arise from the complex interactions and dynamics among its members. The therapist helps family members understand and empathize with each other’s perspectives, address conflicts constructively, and build healthier patterns of communication and interaction. Family counseling can be especially beneficial when families face challenges such as divorce, remarriage, blended family issues, parenting conflicts, substance abuse, or significant life transitions.

This arrangement is typically implemented when there are concerns about the safety or well-being of the child during unsupervised visits.

“With expertise in navigating the complexities of the legal system, we are here to support you through challenging legal proceedings and provide you with the essential emotional and mental well-being you deserve.”

(PSR) Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Psychosocial Rehabilitation is a supportive, person-centered approach designed for individuals navigating long-term or more complex mental health challenges. The focus is on helping you feel more confident, capable, and connected in your daily life—at your own pace.

This type of program offers guidance and practical tools to help with things like maintaining emotional stability, building self-care habits, managing symptoms, and developing healthier ways to cope with stress. It also supports improving relationships, organizing your time, completing everyday tasks, and feeling more comfortable engaging with family and your community.

Learning isn’t just talk-based—it’s hands-on and interactive. You might take part in activities such as gentle exercise or yoga, connect with others who share similar experiences, or participate in outings and real-world experiences outside of the program.

Overall, the goal is to support your emotional, social, and work-related well-being in a way that feels approachable and realistic. With the right support, you can build independence, strengthen resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and your own.
